This article has been written with the aim of elucidating and examining the status of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) as the intermediary of divine grace in the cosmos, from the perspective of Allamah Hasanzadeh Amoli (RA). Its research methodology is descriptive-analytical with a qualitative approach, and it answers the main question: “In the thought of Allamah Hasanzadeh Amoli (RA), what is the status of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) in his station as the intermediary of divine grace?” In his various works, he sought to demonstrate that one of the significant functions of the Imam and the Divine Proof—manifested in our era in the person of Imam Mahdi (PBUH)—is the intermediation in divine grace. The findings and original contributions of this article include the elucidation of topics such as: the necessity for the existence of an intermediary of grace, the necessity for the existence of a Divine Proof in the form of a Prophet and an Imam in a general sense, and in the present era, the Promised Mahdi.
