Extrasensory experiences refer to the acquisition and perception of information from the external world without using the five senses. This phenomenon includes dreams, visions, inspiration, communication with spirits, divination, near-death experiences, telepathy, and more. These experiences have always been part of human existence. In the era of occultation, reliance on these experiences to attain religious knowledge occurs with various goals. However, due to the diversity of experiences and the involvement of Satan, it is necessary to examine their epistemic value and analyze them. This article, using an analytical-descriptive method, investigates the epistemic value of extrasensory experiences based on the conduct of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), reviewing the arguments for and against their epistemic validity, and collects the necessary information through library research. The findings indicate that none of the Islamic narrations definitively affirm the epistemic validity of such experiences for non-infallible individuals, particularly during wakefulness. Furthermore, the possibility of epistemic error, susceptibility to demonic influences, and the weak evidential foundation of many reports make the acceptance of these experiences difficult. Therefore, extrasensory experiences are only valid within the framework of revealed teachings and cannot be used as an independent source for religious knowledge.
