The principle of infallibility, as the most important characteristic of the Imamate, can be discussed from various angles. One of those issues is the scope of infallibility. The scope means what period of the Imam's life and what cases and belongings does his infallibility cover. One of the approaches to addressing this issue is the explanatory approach, as opposed to the comparative approach. In the sense that, by citing the revealed texts, propositions related to the scope of infallibility are extracted and inferred, and then explained and analyzed. In order to prove the temporal scope of the Imam's infallibility from the beginning of his birth, the three verses of Sadiqeen, Attila and Tathir were subjected to lexical and content analysis. The necessity of absolute obedience to the Sadiqeen (who, according to narrations, mean the pure Imams), the negation of the Imamate from the absolute oppressor, and God's creative and continuous will to purify the Ahl al-Bayt are only compatible with the Imam's infallibility from the beginning of his birth. Otherwise, a violation of the intention (contradiction and conflict in the meaning of the verse) will occur and the meaning of the verse will not be direct.
