From the perspective of researchers, when philosophy deals with a universal concept like existence, encompassing all of being with its gradational and hierarchical nature, it is unbefitting to confine the expression of truths to a single language as the sole medium of conveying the facts. The philosophical mind, confronting a unified yet hierarchical existence that, through essential intensified motion, reveals an ordered system of human existential and perceptual levels and the realms of existence, faces a profound tragedy if it limits itself to one dimension of language—such as spoken language—in analyzing and explaining truths. The way forward from this predicament requires a comprehensive, multi-dimensional perspective. Mullā Ṣadrā, by defining language as a gradational (mushakkik) entity, envisions diverse levels and instances of language, where reliance on one form—such as spoken language—and exclusion of another—like intuitive language—finds no place. Rather, Ṣadraean language, as a fuzzy and gradational system, permeates through the very essence of Transcendent Wisdom; thus, as many levels of perception and existence as humans experience, there will be corresponding languages, broadening language to encompass all of existence. This research, employing a library-based method and an analytical-descriptive approach, seeks to address how the two concepts of language and intuition can assist in manifesting Ṣadrā’s fuzzy language as a gradational entity.
