Knowing Imam instead of knowing God; Criticism of the thought of Dr. Mohammad Ali Amir Moazi

Abstract

Dr. Mohammad Ali Amirmoezzi has taken the first step in the pursuit of the recognition of Shia theology, and the early Shias considered imams to be divine. From his point of view, in the belief of early Shiism, the existence of God is in two parts and it is not possible to know God in the position of essence; Except as an "unreasonable and unlimited object" and also God with his negative attributes and our knowledge belongs to another part of God, that is, God in the position of verb or Imam.In the following article, the criticism of his view on the issue of recognizing the imam instead of God is discussed, and the aim is to criticize the documents and brokers of Amir Moazi's documents. The findings of the research with descriptive-analytical method are: 1. According to the last verses of Surah Hashr and... as well as the narrations of Ahl al-Bayt, God is more recognizable than the description of Amir Moazi. 2. The meaning of this interpretation of the hadiths is that the knowledge of God is the knowledge of the Imam; It is recommended to follow the Imam's teachings in the complete knowledge of God.
