Abstract

Ideas and assumptions within Mahdism, which shape how individuals relate to Mahdism, need to be examined for their validity. This examination aims to distinguish accurate beliefs from inaccurate ones by comparing them with facts and explaining realities. The study of Mahdist ideas can be categorized into three main areas: (1) the alignment of ideas with facts and reality, (2) the potential for historical truth, and (3) the examination of consequences and interpretations. To address these areas, a specific methodology is required to separate the conceptual from the doctrinal. This methodology consists of six stages: notion identification, source collection, source evaluation, textual analysis, content analysis, and consequence study. These stages provide a comprehensive model for studying the history of ideas in Mahdism. By applying this method, one can investigate all propositions related to Mahdism to uncover not only the origins of ideas but also their social influences and potential repercussions. This research uses a meta-synthesis approach to address notions, mindsets, and their consequences.
