Abstract

Order is a fundamental function of civilization. To assess the capacity of a culture and its ideas to create a civilization, it is essential to understand how they relate to this civilizational function and their effectiveness in establishing order and system. Given that the Islamic Revolution represents a potential shift towards a new civilizational paradigm, it is crucial to gather resources and evaluate their capacities in the face of rivals to achieve this new Islamic civilization. The concept of Imamate is a key soft power in Shiism, and its core components should be examined for their potential to contribute to the civilizational function of order. This research aims to develop a theoretical framework and evaluate the effectiveness of the idea of Imamate in a social context, employing a bibliographical method and an analytic approach. If humans, as centers of civilization, possess essential attributes such as knowledge—critical for organization—and infallibility, this will facilitate the creation and management of a civilization. This results in an order that extends beyond the conventional notions found in Hobbes' ideas or Durkheim's moral order.
