انواع ویژگیهای ذهنی و تمایز ذهنی ـ فیزیکی
ویژگیهای ذهنی انواع بسیار متنوعی دارند، اما آیا این ویژگیها خصوصیات مشترکی دارند؟ در بخش اول این مقاله، با بررسی چند دستهبندی از ویژگیهای ذهنی، خصوصیات متمایزکنندۀ ویژگیهای ذهنی یعنی آگاهی، کیف ذهنی و حیث التفاتی را تشخیص خواهیم داد. در بخش دوم، هر یک از این خصوصیات و همینطور خصوصیت معرفتی دسترسی اولشخص را مختصراً بررسی کرده و به رابطه میان آنها خواهیم پرداخت. با استفاده از این خصوصیات و با نگاهی به دو تلقی مبتنی بر نظریه و مبتنی بر شیء از امر فیزیکی، تقابل ذهنی/ فیزیکی را در پایان بخش دوم صورتبندی خواهیم کرد. در بخش سوم و پایانی مختصراً به این پرسش خواهیم پرداخت که آیا ذهنی یک ویژگی وجودشناختی منفرد یا به تعبیر بهتر یک نوع طبیعی است یا خیر.

تعیین مبنای اختلاف فیزیکالیسم پیشینی و پسینی و بررسی لوازم هرکدام
فیزیکالیسم بر پایۀ این انگاره شکل میگیرد که فیزیک کاملترین علم است و توان تبیین و پیشبینی همه چیز را دارد. در این نوشتار پس از شرح و توضیح ایدۀ اصلی فیزیکالیسم و روشهای تعیین امر فیزیکی، وجوه اشتراک و اختلاف فیزیکالیسم پسینی و پیشینی را بر میشمریم. فیزیکالیسم پسینی که تعبیر دیگری از تحویلگرایی است رابطۀ امر فیزیکی و ذهنی را با رجوع به شواهد تجربی و فیزیکالیسم پیشینی - که تعبیر دیگری از نگرش غیرتحویلگراست - رابطه امر فیزیکی و ذهنی را بر حسب استنتاج منطقی و بدون رجوع به تجربه، تعیین میکند. پس از بررسی و مقایسۀ فیزیکالیسم پیشینی و پسینی به این نتیجه میرسیم که نقطۀ ثقل اختلاف این دو نگرش در مفهوم «خاصۀ ذهنی» است. در نهایت، به بررسی و تحلیل انتقادی مفهوم «خاصۀ ذهنی» و لوازم آن در فلسفۀ ذهن معاصر خواهیم پرداخت.

رویارویی با مسئلۀ آگاهی
چالمرز، در این مقاله با تمرکز بر مسئلۀ دشوار آگاهی در صدد است نشان دهد چرا تبیین این مسئله تا این اندازه دشوار است. وی از کارهای اخیر که روشهای تحویلی را برای پرداختن به آگاهی در چارچوب عصبشناسی و علومشناختی به کار میگیرند، انتقاد میکند. در مرحلۀ بعد، او ادعا میکند این روشها برای حلّ مسئلۀ دشوار ناگزیر با شکست مواجه میشوند. به زعم وی، برای دست یافتن به راه حلّ این مسئله، ناگزیریم به سمت نوعی تبیین غیرتحویلی از آگاهی حرکت کنیم و به این ترتیب، نظریهای طبیعیگرایانه بهدست میآید.
او در نهایت، نظریۀ پیشنهادیاش را ارائه میدهد. نظریهای غیرتحویلی که بر سه اصل روانشناختی انسجام ساختاری، ثبات سازمانی و دوحیثیبودگی اطلاعات استوار است

بررسی استدلال شفافیت به نفع بازنمودگرایی
در این مقاله، استدلال رایجی بهنفع بازنمودگرایی بیرونگرایانه دربارۀ آگاهی بهنام استدلال شفافیت صورتبندی و بررسی میشود. این استدلال با استناد به شفافیت آگاهی، درصدد نشاندادن این است که ویژگیهای کیفی آگاهی در واقع، کیفیتهای سابجکتیو خود تجربۀ آگاهانه نیستند، بلکه کیفیتهای امور بیرونیای هستند که در آگاهی ما بهطور شفاف، بازنمایی شدهاند. در این مقاله، این استدلال و اشکالاتی را که به آن وارد شده، تبیین و صورتبندی میکنیم. در بخش دوم مقاله، با تحلیلی پدیدارشناختی از شفافیت و بهکارگیری یک آزمون فکری، نشان میدهیم که شفافیت میتواند استدلالی برای خود بازنمودگرایی باشد، اما نمیتوان از طریق آن، بازنمودگرایی بیرونگرایانه را ثابت کرد.

نظریۀ صدق در پدیده شناسی هوسرل
پدیدهشناسی با خروج از رویکرد طبیعی و کنار نهادن فرض جهان خارج به بازبینی گستردهای در مفاهیم، مسایل و روشهای کلاسیک میانجامد که یکی از مهمترین آنها مفهوم «صدق» است. خواهیم دید که با وجود تأکید هوسرل بر استفاده از «مطابقت» در معرفی صدق، و برخلاف نظر مفسرین همچون دیوید بل، پدیدهشناسی به تعدیلی در مفهوم «اوبژه» میانجامد که عملاً سخن گفتن از مطابقت را منتفی میسازد. هوسرل با درگیر کردن این مفهوم با فرایندهای انسجامگرایانه، پای «انسجام» را پیش از معرفی نهایی صدق به این بحث باز میکند، و به همین دلیل است که در پدیدهشناسی دیگر نمیتوان «انسجام بهعنوان روش پی بردن به صدق» را از «انسجام بهعنوان عنصری ماهوی در تعریف صدق» تفکیک کرد. این مهم را در ضمن معرفی اوبژه، سنتز و افق دنبال میکنیم و در نهایت با تحلیل دو نوع خطای (حلولی و متعالی) به دیالکتیک نهفته در بازی بیپایان صدق و کذب میرسیم.

اراده آزاد؛ دیدگاههای معاصر در باب ارادۀ آزاد
بیش از دو هزار سال است که مسئلۀ ارادۀ آزاد و دترمینیسم ذهن فیلسوفان را به خود مشغول ساخته است. این مسئله در سالهای اخیر به شکل و شیوهای نو، دوباره احیا شده است. در این مقاله نخست به دیدگاه «شهود متعارف» و تقابل آن با دترمینیسم پرداخته شده است. همسازی یا ناهمسازی ارادۀ آزاد و دترمینیسم، مسئلۀ همسازی[i] نامیده میشود. بهواسطۀ پاسخهایی که به مسئلۀ همسازی داده شده، انشعاباتی اساسی در حوزۀ ارادۀ آزاد پدید آمده است. همسازگرایی و ناهمسازگرایی دو دیدگاه عمده بهحساب میآیند. ناهمسازگرایی نیز دو گونۀ اصلی دارد که عبارتند از اختیارگرایی و دترمینیسم سخت (ناهمسازگرایی سخت). بخش پایانی مقاله به رویکرد علمی و نسبت آن با مسئلۀ ارادۀ آزاد اختصاص دارد. آزمایش بنیامین لیبت و آزمایش نیکولز از آزمایشهاییاند که به آنها اشاره شده است. این آزمایشها پیامدهای متفاوت و حتی متضادی داشتهاند

نقد کتاب رابطۀ نفس و بدن از نظر ملاصدرا
بنا به ادعای نویسندۀ کتاب رابطۀ نفس و بدن از نظر ملاصدرا - که از اندک نوشتههای جدید دربارۀ رابطۀ نفس و بدن است - تبیین فلسفی ملاصدرا از رابطۀ نفس و بدن، بدیعترین نظریه در میان نظریههای فیلسوفان مسلمان و غربی است. اما در مراجعه به کتاب شاهد هیچگونه بدیع بودن و تازگی در این نظریه نیستیم؛ و در تحلیل و تبیین نظریه ملاصدرا تناقضات و ابهاماتی به چشم میخورد که در خور تأملاند. این تناقضات و ابهامات از درک نادرست مؤلف از آراء ملاصدرا - در بخشهای مختلف علمالنفس - سرچشمه گرفته است؛ برخی از این ابهامها و اشتباهها از تصور اشتباه مؤلف کتاب از «بدن» و «نفس» در نظر ملاصدرا ناشی شده است؛ و برخی دیگر ناشی از تحلیل و گاه ترجمۀ نادرست عبارات ملاصدراست. مشکلاتی از این دست، سبب شده تا کتاب مذکور نتواند چندان از پس تحلیل تبیین فلسفی ملاصدرا از رابطۀ نفس و بدن برآید.
